Bio

Hugh supplies The Civic Canopy with operational and office management to ensure the organization has the tools and materials to execute on its mission. He brings over ten years of experience in oversight of systems, processes, technology, HR, accounting support, and facilities management. Hugh feels best when his role is not ‘noticed’ because that typically means the office systems are running smoothly and efficiently. Hugh spent his elementary school years in Bolivia, where his parents were serving in the Peace Corps. During this time, he developed a strong affinity for different cultures, while perfecting his Spanish. Outside of the office, Hugh is an artist and his paintings are exhibited in local galleries. He received a BFA in Art History from the University of Texas at Austin.
