Bio

Emily Parkey is passionate about working in community to cultivate social justice and joins Civic Canopy with 20 years of experience in community organizing, family and community engagement, education, and immigrant rights.  Emily is bilingual in Spanish and English and holds a BA in Cultural Anthropology from Transylvania University and an MSW from the University of Denver.
