Canopy Lecture
In 2018, The Civic Canopy launched an annual speaker series designed to strengthen the field of practitioners seeking to promote transformative change in communities through collaboration. The event helps emphasize the Canopy’s focus on creating authentic spaces where diverse perspectives come together and mobilize for the common good. To date, speakers have included Adam Kahane, Angela Glover Blackwell, Dr. Breigh Jones-Coplin, Francis Agyakwa, Jahala Walker, and Margaret Faliano.

Canopy Summit
Every two years, The Canopy Summit hosts a multi-day intensive learning experience designed to enhance skills and practice in inclusive, collaborative processes that result in real social change. We accelerate Canopy network members’ learning journeys by providing the space for dialogue, exchange of information and ideas, and exposure to practical tools and resources.
