Community Partnership System

The Community Partnership System is a web platform that fills two vital community needs: creating a comprehensive inventory of available out of school time (OST) programs and a reporting platform to help providers determine their impact on student outcomes. Providers will enter information about their organizations, programs, sites and students served – creating a comprehensive profile of their services. While previous efforts to inventory OST services have been point in time only, the Community Partnership System creates a platform where providers can provide regular, on-going updates to a program profile.

What makes the Community Partnership System a unique and exciting endeavor is that for the first time, organizations will have direct access to outcome data at the student level. Instead of providers completing individual requests, DPS will use the Community Partnership System to provide automated reports on how students in each program are doing in terms of attendance, achievement, behavior, and more. This data will help providers continuously improve their programming. The result will be a clear picture of the impact of programs on student outcomes, as well as an understanding of the gaps in service. The platform will provide key data to help drive the city-wide OST strategy and quality initiatives in the future.
